HOUSTON (ICIS)--NOVA Chemicals and LANXESS have extended an agreement in which NOVA provides crude C4 for LANXESS’s North American production, LANXESS announced on Thursday.
Details on financial and product quantity terms were not disclosed.
NOVA’s Canadian facilities in Joffre, Alberta, and Corunna, Ontario, will supply the crude C4 to LANXESS’s extraction unit in Sarnia, Ontario, LANXESS said.
“We are strengthening our relationship with NOVA, an established industry player,” said Holger Hueppeler, LANXESS’s head of Global Procurement and Logistics.
“This contract is adding to the security of supply we are providing to our customers out of our North American asset base,” said Joachim Grub, LANXESS’s head of Business Unit Performance Butadiene Rubbers.
