SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Hanwha Chemical’s 80,000 tonne/year phthalic anhydride (PA) plant in Ulsan is currently shut for maintenance, a company source said late on Thursday.
The plant was taken off line on 28 October and will be down up to 10 November, the source said.
The turnaround will not affect supply to its customers as the company has stocked up ample inventory beforehand, the source said.
Hanwha Chemical is the second largest PA producer in South Korea, after Aekyung Petrochemical.
