Japan's JX Nippon Oil achieves on-spec propylene at Kawasaki OCU

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s JX Nippon Oil and Energy has attained on-spec propylene production at its olefins conversion unit (OCU) in Kawasaki after the facility resumed operations on 4 November, after nearly a month of shutdown, a company source said on Tuesday.

The facility, which can produce around 140,000 tonnes/year of propylene, was shut on 8 October.
