SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Chinese phenol/acetone producer Shandong Lihuayi plans to shut its plant at Dongying in Shandong province on 14 November as it prepares to switch to a new substation for its power supply, a company source said on Wednesday.
The plant, which has a phenol capacity of 220,000 tonnes/year and an acetone capacity of 130,000 tonnes/year, will remain off line until 20 November because of the anticipated disruption to its electricity supply during this period, the source said.
