SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Malaysia’s PETRONAS Chemical Group (PCG) is ramping up the operating rate at its 400,000 tonne/year monoethylene glycol (MEG) plant at Kerteh in Terengganu following a recent turnaround, a company source said on Friday.

The plant was restarted in early November after a one-month turnaround ordered by Malaysia's Department of Occupational Safety and Health.

The company expects the plant to run at full capacity in the coming week.
