SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Zhejiang-based Shaoxing Sanyuan Petrochemical is planning to commission its 450,000 tonne/year propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant for producing propylene at Shaoxing in late December this year, a company source said on Friday.
“We’ve bought some spot propane cargoes for the planned commissioning. Some of the cargoes are sourced directly from overseas vendors, and we also bought some from Chinese importers,” said the source.
Market sources said that the company has not yet procured propane in bulk volume.
