Russia's Jan-Sept nitrogen fertilizer exports up, potash down

MOSCOW (ICIS)--Russia's overall exports of nitrogen fertilizers were up in January-September 2013, while potash exports decreased, the country's customs agency said Monday.

Russia's exports of nitrogen fertilizers reached 8.80m tonnes in January-September 2013, up by 6.2% year on year, the Russian Federal Customs Service said in a statement. The export value was reported at $2.61bn (€1.96bn).

The country's potash exports amounted to 4.69m tonnes, down by 21.8% year on year. The export value was reported at $1.68bn.
