SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Shenhua Ningxia Coal Group Co is running its newly restarted 300,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) line at full capacity after restarting the unit over the weekend, a company source said on Wednesday.

This PP line located in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region resumed production on 9 November after completing regular maintenance, the source said.

The company’s other PP line with a 200,000 tonne/year capacity will be restarted this week, the source said.

The two PP lines were shut in late October.

The bigger line produces PP raffia yarn, while the smaller unit makes PP injection grade.
