Taiwan's CPDC runs ACN plant at 90% capacity after restart

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s China Petrochemical Development Corp (CPDC) is running its 240,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile (ACN) plant, located at Kaohsiung, Taiwan, at 90% capacity after it was restarted on around 10 November, a company source said.

“The plant is running at around 90% and we are building inventory now,” the company source added.

The ACN plant comprises two lines with a capacity of 120,000 tonnes/year each.

The two lines were taken off line on 24 and 26 October respectively for around 15 days of maintenance.
