Taiwan’s TSRC ramps up BR run rate to 100% after restart

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan Synthetic Rubber Corp (TSRC) has ramped up the operating rate of its  60,000 tonne/year butadiene rubber (BR) plant to full rate after restarting this week,  a company source said.

“We restarted on 10 November as scheduled and the plant is now operating at 100% capacity," the source said.

The plant in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, was shut on 21 October for maintenance.

On 14 November, BR prices were assessed at $2,050-2,150/tonne CFR (cost and freight) northeast (NE) Asia, unchanged from the previous week, according to ICIS data.
