LONDON(ICIS)--Vencorex has lifted force majeure on its toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) supplies at its Le-Pont-de-Claix in France, a company source said late on Friday.
This follows the recently resumed output at its upstream toluene diamine (TDA) and TDI facilities at the site.
The TDA/TDI operations came back online during the last week, following the resolution of technical problems at the TDA unit, which started in the second half of October. The latter had impacted downstream TDI production and resulted in the force majeure of TDI supplies from the French site.
The French TDI unit is a joint venture between Thailand-based petrochemical and refining company PTT Global and Swedish-based producer Perstorp.
The plant has the nameplate capacity to produce around 125,000 tonnes/year.
