SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Lotte Chemical has bought three naphtha cargoes totalling 75,000 tonnes for delivery in the first half of January, traders said on Friday.
Lotte Chemical purchased two of the cargoes for delivery to Yeosu at a premium of $12.50/tonne (€9.25/tonne) to CFR (cost & freight) Japan quotes, and one cargo that was bound for Daesan at CFR Japan quotes plus $15/tonne, they added.
Previously, the company bought 75,000 tonnes of naphtha for delivery to Yeosu in the second half of December.
The three 25,000 tonne cargoes were transacted at a premium of around $9/tonne to Japan quotes CFR.
