SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Malaysia-based Petlin is running its 255,000 tonne/year low density polyethylene (LDPE) plant at Kerteh in Terengganu at around 90% capacity, after restarting the plant on 19 November, a source close to the company said on Friday.

The LDPE plant resumed production at the end of October after shutting down on 1 September for maintenance, but it was shut again shortly after because of technical issues, the source said.

The producer has to clear some backlog orders because its supply can go back to normal levels, he added.
