LONDON (ICIS)--Melamine imports into the EU dropped by 28% year on year in September, data from European statistics agency Eurostat showed on Monday.
September imports amounted to 4,461 tonnes, compared with 6,215 tonnes in the same month last year.
Exports out of the EU were down year on year in September by 31%.
September exports were 5,787 tonnes, compared with 8,371 tonnes in September 2012.
Eurostat import/export data is subject to revision as more detailed information becomes available.
