EU September propylene glycol imports rise year on year

LONDON (ICIS)--Propylene glycol (PG) imports into the EU from the rest of the world rose significantly year on year in September, according to statistics agency Eurostat on Monday.

September exports from the EU to the rest of the world saw a 19% drop year on year.

Eurostat data for PG includes monopropylene glycol (MPG) and propylene glycol ethers. However, the agency was unable to specify which other derivatives are included under this heading.
