HOUSTON (ICIS)--The final nomination for US December butadiene (BD) contracts was heard at a rollover, sources said on Tuesday.
The nomination came from one of three producers that settled its November contracts at 54 cents/lb ($1,190/tonne, €881/tonne).
The other two producers who settled at that level also each nominated a rollover for December, as did the lone producer to settle at 56 cents/lb in November.
If the market accepts a rollover for December, that would put the weighted contract price at 54.36 cents/lb.
US BD contracts typically settle at the start of the month for that month, but could settle earlier than normal because of the US Thanksgiving holidays.
Major US BD producers include ExxonMobil, LyondellBasell, Shell Chemical and TPC Group.
