SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shanghai Petrochemical shut down its 200,000 tonne/year PP line 3 on 26 November because of mechanical woes, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.

The PP line in Shanghai will be down for three to four days, the source said.

Operations at Shanghai Petrochemical’s two other PP lines at the site with a combined capacity of 200,000 tonnes/year are normal, the source said.
