Japan’s JSR to shut NBR plant in March 2014 for maintenance

SINGAPORE (ICIS) -- Japan’s JSR Corp will shut its 35,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) plant at Yokkaichi, Japan, in March 2014 for maintenance, a company source said.

The plant is currently running at 100% capacity.

NBR prices were stable at $2,150-2,250/tonne CIF (cost, insurance & freight) China on 21 November, down by $50/tonne from the previous week, ICIS data showed.
