SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Yangzi Petrochemical on 24 November restarted its 80,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) line in Jiangsu province following a scheduled turnaround, a source close to the company said on Friday.
The company shut the Line A at the site as scheduled on 24 September, according to the source.
The line is currently producing HDPE yarn and running at full capacity, the source said.
The turnaround at the unit did not have a major impact on the spot market because of its small production capacity, according to traders based in eastern China.
