SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Sinopec and PetroChina have reduced their prices for December-delivery jet kerosene by CNY64/tonne ($11/tonne) amid weakening values in international markets, company sources said on Friday.
Effective 1 December, Sinopec’s jet kerosene offers to China National Aviation Fuel (CNAF) will be CNY7,045/tonne ex-refinery, while PetroChina will charge the same buyer CNY7,015/tonne ex-refinery for the product, the sources said.
CNAF is the biggest provider of jet kerosene to airlines in China.
Under the existing pricing mechanism in China, jet fuel prices are adjusted on the first day of each month to reflect changes in the benchmark prices in Singapore in the previous month.
