HOUSTON (ICIS)--US diammonium phosphate (DAP) exports in October 2013 decreased by 35% from the same month a year earlier, according to data made available by the US International Trade Commission (ITC) on Wednesday.
US DAP exports decreased to 175,348 tonnes in October from 271,840 tonnes in October 2012. Exports declined in October mainly because of less demand from India.
October exports increased from the 138,776 tonnes in September 2013.
India at 51,832 tonnes was the major destination of US DAP exports, followed by Brazil at 49,536 and Canada at 35,018.
