ExxonMobil, Motiva fined for air quality violations at Texas plants

HOUSTON (ICIS)--ExxonMobil has been fined $126,250 (€92,163) for air quality violations emanating from its plant in Jefferson County, Texas, the Texas Department on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) announced on Wednesday.

The penalty stems from an investigation conducted on 7 August 2012, the TCEQ said.

Meanwhile, the TCEQ also fined Motiva $101,038 for air quality violations at its plant in Jefferson County, Texas.

The fine stems from a January-March 2012 investigation into emissions.
