China's BYC to shut Nanjing cracker for maintenance

SINGAPORE (ICIS)—China’s BASF-YPC (BYC) plans to shut its 740,000 tonne/year cracker in Nanjing on 4 or 5 January for maintenance, a source close to the company said on Thursday.

The unit, which is currently running at around 85% capacity, is expected to be offline for about 8-10 days, the source said.
