HOUSTON (ICIS)--US construction products company LATICRETE International has acquired L&M Construction Chemicals for an undisclosed sum, it said on Friday.

Omaha, Nebraska-based L&M produces concrete construction chemicals, including coatings, sealers, construction grouts, patch and repair mortars, as well as colour hardeners for polished concrete.

Through this acquisition, L&Ms brand portfolio will gain access to LATICRETE manufacturing capabilities, sales representation, marketing, and support services,” said LATICRETE CEO David Rothberg.

LATICRETE customers, in turn, will enjoy access to some of the most innovative decorative and restoration products on the market,” Rothberg added.

Following completion of the deal, expected within three months, L&Ms product lines will continue to carry the L&M name under the LATICRETE corporate brand identity, and L&M’s manufacturing and sales functions will remain in Omaha.
