SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has settled its December 2013 butadiene (BD) contract price at $1,497/tonne (€1,063/tonne), down by $27/tonne from the previous month, a company source said on Monday.

The producer’s contract settlement for November was $1,524/tonne pipeline DEL (delivered).

YNCC derives its monthly contract settlement price from the average spot BD prices for that particular month.

On 20 December, BD spot prices averaged at $1,485/tonne CFR (cost and freight) northeast (NE) Asia,  ICIS data showed.

There was no publication for spot prices on 27 December because of the Christmas holiday.
