SINGAPORE (ICIS)—Thailand’s PTT Global will shut down its 50,000 tonne/year ethanolamines unit in Map Ta Phut on 15 January for a maintenance that would last till mid-February, market sources said on Wednesday.
The turnaround will last for three to four weeks, during which there will be a catalyst change in the unit. The plant is being operated at 90% capacity and above, sources said.
PTT previously conducted maintenance at the unit in the first half of August 2013.
