SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shanghai BASF Polyurethane Co (SBPC) plans to expand its toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) unit in Shanghai from 160,000 tonnes/year to 220,000 tonnes/year, a source close to the company said on Thursday.
The announcement of environmental impact assessment on this planned expansion has been released in early January, the source said.
Financial details and the start date of the expansion works were not available immediately.
