SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Changling Petrochemical plans to start up its new 100,000 tonne/year hydrogen peroxide-to-propylene oxide (HPPO) plant in Hunan province in the second half of June this year, a source close to the company said on Monday.
Plant construction, which began in January last year, has been completed, while equipment installation works at the unit are under way, the source said.
PO is a major feedstock used in the production of propylene glycol (PG).
