US propane supplies fall to two-and-half year low

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US propane supplies declined for the 13th consecutive week, reaching a two-and-a-half year low in the process, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.

Propane stocks fell by 8.7% for the week ending 10 January, the EIA said. Year on year, supplies are down by 39.5% from 64m bbl in the same week of 2013.

Meanwhile, consumption increased by 0.8% week on week.

Exports were steady at 370,000 bbl/day.
