DUBAI (ICIS)--The olefins conversion unit (OCU) supplying propylene to United Arab Emirates (UAE) Borouge 2 is on track to restart in mid February, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.
The plant was shut down in mid January due to a review of the reliability of the plant.
Asian olefin players said the OCU might restart in early February should maintenance work complete earlier than expected.
According to the Borouge website, the OCU can produce 752,000 tonnes of propylene per year.
