LONDON (ICIS)--Periodic problems with auto transport from Russia into western Europe have disrupted bisphenol A (BPA) supply, a producer confirmed on Friday.

Extremely cold weather in the country had made BPA transport from Russian plants difficult. One buyer said it had not seen offers of Russian-origin BPA since before Christmas.

The Russian producer confirmed: “We have some periodic problems with available auto-transport from Russia to west Europe. But we have this winter problems rarely, not always.”
