HOUSTON (ICIS)--Delek US Holdings is preparing to restart its 80,000 bbl/day refinery at El Dorado, Arkansas, following a turnaround, the US-based refining firm said on Tuesday.

Delek said that the refinery would increase throughput rates over the next two weeks as it becomes fully operational.

As part of the turnaround, which began on 4 January, Delek completed a "pre-flash tower project" to increase light crude throughput capability by 10,000 bbl/day, and it replaced the refinery’s fluid catalytic cracking reactor, it said.
