LONDON (ICIS)--Wilmar International’s natural fatty alcohols plant at Huntsman’s chemical site in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is now in the commissioning stages and should be producing material during the first quarter, a company source said on Wednesday.
The plant was previously expected to be running by the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2013, but was hit by unforeseen delays in its completion.
No reason was given for the delay.
The 120,000 tonne/year plant is owned by Wilmar and is in Huntsman's 85 hectare chemical site in Rozenburg, Rotterdam.
