SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea-based Daesan MMA (DMMA) plans to shut its 98,000 tonne/year methyl methacrylate (MMA) plant in Yeosu in mid-March for scheduled maintenance, a source close to the company said on Friday.

The turnaround is expected last for 15 days until the end of March, the source added.

The company is a joint venture between Japan’s Mitsubishi Rayon Co (MRC) and South Korea’s Honam Petrochemical.
