SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indian Oil will not conduct any scheduled turnaround at its benzene unit in Panipat in 2014, a company source said on Wednesday.
The nameplate capacity of the benzene unit is 120,000 tonnes/year, the source said.
“The unit is running close to 100% now,” the source said.
Indian Oil sells benzene domestically, while the country’s two other producers, Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) and Haldia Petrochemical, export benzene.
