Malaysia's Lotte Chemical Titan to shut PP plant down in May

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Malaysian producer Lotte Chemical Titan is planning to take its 200,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Pasir Gudang in Malaysia off line in May for routine maintenance, according to a company source on Friday.

The shutdown is expected to last for 10-12 days, the source said, without revealing the exact dates.

The PP plant is currently operating at 100% capacity, according to the source.
