Vietnam’s PV Oil issues May Song Doc crude tender

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Vietnamese state oil marketer PV Oil issued a tender offering 300,000 bbl of 13-19 May loading Song Doc crude, sources confirmed on Wednesday.

The tender will close on 14 March and will have validity until 17 March.

Previously, PV Oil awarded a tender offering 250,000 bbl of 12-18 February Song Doc to Shell at around Dated BFOE (Dtd) plus $11.00/bbl FOB Song Doc.

Song Doc is a light sweet crude with an API gravity of around 35.8 and a sulphur content of 0.05%. Production from the Song Doc field is approximately 25,000 bbl/day.

The Song Doc oilfield is a joint venture between PetroVietnam, Talisman and PETRONAS. The Song Doc oilfield facilities comprise a wellhead platform and a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.
