SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Export prices of linear alkyl benzene (LAB) from India have been on a downtrend, market players said on Wednesday.

Several players said they were not exporting any material for March loading to SE Asia as the domestic market was more profitable.

According to a buyer offers were at $1,760/tonne FOB (free on board) India and at $1,780/tonne FOB India from two different suppliers, but added that this week’s discussion range on an FOB India basis should be at $1,750-1,760/tonne FOB India.

Selling notions by a supplier were expressed at $1,760/tonne FOB India.
