AMSTERDAM (ICIS)--Dow Europe has closed its March order books for linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), after closing books for new low density polyethylene (LDPE) orders last week, a company source said on Wednesday.
Some polyethylene (PE) grades have tightened in availability following better-than-expected demand early in the month, as buyers came to the market to take advantage of lower commodity prices.
PE spot prices are firming in March, while monthly prices are easing in line with the drop in the March ethylene contract.
