SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Advanced Biochemical (Thailand) restarted its 100,000 tonne/year epichlorohydrin (ECH) plant in Map Ta Phut in the week of 17 March after completing its maintenance, a company source said on Tuesday.
The plant was shut on 8 March for regular maintenance, the source said.
Details on the unit’s run rates could not be confirmed.
Advanced Biochemical (Thailand), a subsidiary of Belgian producer Solvay, is the largest ECH producer in southeast Asia.
