SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Asahi Kasei has restarted its 500,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker in Mizushima on 14 April after completing a turnaround that lasted more than 50 days, a company source said late on Monday.

The company expects to attain on-specification ethylene production the following day, the source said.
