LONDON (ICIS)--European acrylonitrile (ACN) April contract prices have finalised at an increase of €25-29/tonne, buyers and sellers involved confirmed on Thursday.

The increase was attributed to feedstock cost rises.

The April propylene contract price rose by €10/tonne. Prices of ammonia – ACN’s other feedstock – in Yuzhny, Ukraine, rose by $40-50/tonne between the beginning of March and 11 April.
