South Korea's GS Caltex attains on-spec C3 production at FCC

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s GS Caltex has attained on-specification propylene production at its vacuum gas oil (VGO) fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit after scheduled maintenance, a company source said on Monday.

The facility restarted on 9 May after 22 days of maintenance, the source said.

The FCC can produce around 250,000 tonnes/year of propylene.
