Belarus petrochemical output mixed in January-April – Belstat

MOSCOW (ICIS)--Belarus's overall production of fertilizers and other chemical products was mixed in January-April, statistics agency Belstat said on Friday.

In January-April 2014, the country's total mineral fertilizer output was 18.6% up year on year at 2.07m tonnes, according to Belstat.

The country's total output of polyethylene (PE) was 2.9% down year on year at 46,300 tonnes, the agency said.

Cords and yarns production was 4.9% down year on year at 65,300 tonnes, the announcement said.

Caprolactam output was 1% down year on year at 45,500 tonnes, according to the agency.
