Lyondell Texas refinery runs at reduced rates

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Lyondell planned to run its 283,000 bbl/day Houston refinery in Texas at reduced rates following a fire on Friday, according to a Monday news report.

A company spokesman said a brief fire occurred on Friday at a distillation unit, according to Reuters.

The company said the unit was taken down and the refinery was expected to run at reduced rates for several days, according to Reuters.
