LONDON (ICIS news)--A 24-hour strike at BASF’s maleic anhydride (MA) plant at Feluy, Belgium has resulted in the chemical company being unable to ship any material, a company source said on Friday.

Strikers protesting against salary conditions were expected to end the strike action this afternoon.

“We will of course ship the material at the beginning of next week,” the BASF source said.

“Unfortunately our loading capacity does not allow for us to double our loadings, but the problem should be covered by the first half of next week."
