ICIS News : 1-Aug-13 08:59

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Maochen Industrial (Shanghai) is expected to start up a 600,000 cubic metre/day gas liquefaction plant at Luoyang in He’nan province in July 2014, a company source said on Thursday.

The project is at preparatory stages and will mainly process natural gas supplied via PetroChina’s second West-East gas pipeline, the source added.

The company will build related facilities such as refuelling stations in Luoyang city or nearby regions. Liquefied natural gas (LNG) outputs are likely to be distributed at these facilities, the source said.

The company is seeking for third-party logistics firms on LNG delivery and may require a daily transport capacity of about 20 trucks (20-21/tonnes per truck), the source added.

Maochen Industrial (Shanghai) specialises in energy saving business such as LNG and boiler conversion.
