Belgium's Beaulieu Nylon declares force majeure on nylon 6

LONDON (ICIS)--Belgium-based Beaulieu Nylon has declared force majeure on nylon 6 (or polyamide 6) following a fire at its 40,000 tonne/year polymerisation unit in Kruishoutem, a source at the producer confirmed on Tuesday.

The fire occurred on Monday afternoon and the force majeure was declared on Tuesday.
