India Petrochemical Report

ICIS insight Asia has launched a new India report that will focus on the key developments in the country's petrochemical industry.

“With India projected to emerge as one of the top five economies in the world in 2025, interest in the country is at an all time high. India’s rapid economic growth in the last few years has spurred demand for a wide range of petrochemicals. Consumption of key petrochemicals such as polymers is projected to show double-digit growth supported by India’s vast middle class that is seeing rising income levels and changing life styles,” said Malini Hariharan, Country Manager – India.

But economic, infrastructure and petrochemical feedstock hurdles weigh down India’s market potential. Industry executives need to closely analyse the various factors driving the country’s petrochemical market before arriving at an appropriate strategy for the country.

The ICIS insight Asia India report focuses on the country’s olefins and polymer industry and provides a detailed analysis of major demand drivers, prospects for future growth and the environment for new petrochemical projects. It will also provide a listing of all currently announced projects and evaluate their progress.
