Jayant Oils & Derivatives Limited, commonly known as "Jayant Oil Mills", has developed various industrial applications of Castor seed. At a very early stage, Jayant Oil Mills developed various Castor Oil derivatives through its research team and commercially produced a number of such Castor Oil derivatives at our Unit started in early 1952 at Mazgaon (Mumbai), which found wide acceptance both in domestic and international markets. In order to take control of its supply chain and meet its own Castor Oil requirements, Jayant Oil Mills started a state-of-the-art Castor Seed Crushing Plant at Baroda in 1974.
